Henry Ford Wyandotte Riverside Hospitals has implemented the following initiatives to promote improvement in patient safety: Clinical Safety Committee which focuses on medication and patient safety issues, Executive Walk-around Safety Rounds, each department's quality plan includes safety monitors, alarmed beds, and each bed is on a sled bed for evacuation purposes.
