Patient safety is a top priority for CCH. Annual Quality Improvement projects focus on preventing errors. Continual staff training and use of new technologies aid to maintain a safe environment. We encourage patients to be part of this effort and to give feedback on any potential safety hazard.

Comments about Intensive Care Unit Physician Staffing:

Physicians are granted privileges for ICU based on their training & experience. Board certified intensive care specialists consult on ICU patients. Attending physicians are available by phone within 10 minutes. Other factors that contribute to quality include: skilled board certified physicians, experienced nurses and a strong working relationship between physicians and nurses.
